This relationship extends the group's chemicals division upstream of formulation: access to base chemistry rather than dependence on traded volumes.

The product range covers methanol, formaldehyde solutions, paraformaldehyde, hexamine and specialty derivatives used across resins, construction chemicals, pharmaceuticals and oilfield formulations.

For the group's oilfield chemicals line this secures raw material supply — the input side of drilling fluids, cementing additives and production chemicals — with regional logistics instead of intercontinental shipping.

Industrial customers gain bulk supply from a Gulf-based producer, with consistent specification, tighter lead times and technical support on formulation.
